Don Jazzy, DJ Jimmy Jatt & Dr. Sid talk about the Evolution of Nigerian Music in the Past 20 Years with UK Music Station Boiler Room

For UK Guardian’s Gateway Series, collaborators Boiler Room caught up with three of Nigeria’s most influential musicians to talk about the changes in the music scene over the last 20 years.
Don Jazzy, DJ Jimmy Jatt and Dr. Sid discuss the evolution of Nigerian music over the last two decades, the current musical climate in Nigeria, and how the term Afrobeats can be problematic.

UK music station Boiler Room states that “This project is brought to you in collaboration with the British Council. Our shared vision for Gateways Nigeria is to build cultural connections and create links between British and Nigerian artists.”
